Little Owl. Atherne noctua. Date taken 27th. June We are not really set up for wildlife photography but when an opportunity arises we have to try. The last picture was taken by Dianne, her camera has over 1.5 Mp more than mine so after cropping it looks much clearer. No prize winning photos but we thought you might like a break from Carnival's and Gala's The Little Owl was introduced in the 1800's and appears to be doing very well, this one kept leaving it's perch and swooping to the ground and returning with a juicy worm. |
