Sudbury Hall and the National Trust Museum of Childhood

Date taken 14th October

A dark dull day, not ideal to capture the best outdoor or indoor shots. Despite the weather the visit was really enjoyable.
Memories of childhood flooded back for the three of us and we were able to show our daughter some of the toys we
played with. We also saw toys our parents and grandparents perhaps had. In years gone by children had to work and it
reminded me of my mother having to fetch water from the river in Milldale on wash days before going to school.
One thing I did not see was a tub of Potty Putty, I have a pot from the late sixties and it still moulds and bounces.
