Hayfield May Queen Carnival Celebrations. Date taken 8th. May The morning was very wet, but as we travelled out from Chesterfield to Hayfield thankfully the rain stopped The streets of Hayfield were lined with spectators to witness the May Queen Carnival Parade despite the cold wind. Credit must go to the organisers for a great afternoon and being considerate enough to speed up the arena events so that the youngsters could escape the cold.
