in Focus on the Chesterfield Canal Thorpe Salvin A short walk along the canal and round the village. The village has won recognition for it's floral displays, and even though there is a shortage of flowers at this time of year it was well worth a visit. The canal walk was quiet except for bird song, but the railway line runs close by and so it may not be the case other than on a Sunday. [ INDEX] |
